Terms and conditions for participating in the Multipick summer competition

1 – The “organiser” of the competition as defined in these terms and conditions of participation is: Multipick Direct GmbH, Godesberger Str. 51, D-53175 Bonn, Managing Director: Bernd Jacobi

2 – The raffle is for the item “Multipick ARES – Disc Detainer & Dimple Lock Opener – S1”, which is offered in our online shop with the corresponding SKU# “MPO-SET03”. Every purchase order placed within the period of 05.06.2023 until and including 18.06.2023 will automatically be entered into the raffle. The payout of cash equivalent of the prize is excluded, as well as the payout of any remaining amounts. The same applies for transferring the prize to another person. The prize may not be substituted or exchanged. The following conditions also apply to participating in this competition.

3 – Eligible to enter are individuals aged 18 years and above who have automatically given their consent to the competition during the above-mentioned competition period (clause 2).

4 – In order to participate in this competition, the purchase of products in our online shop at https://multipick.com/ is required. Participation in the competition on account of third parties and / or through service providers who conduct competition services for their customers or members is excluded.

5 – The participant is responsible for the accuracy of the address and e-mail address provided. If contact with the winner cannot be made due to an incorrect address and/or e-mail address, the organiser reserves the right to repeat the draw and to draw a new winner – any claim to a prize will be forfeited in this respect. The same applies in the event that the winner does not get back to us within 3 weeks after receiving notification of the prize. An address and telephone number are needed for shipping of potential goods.

6 – The winner will be selected at random from all participants and notified at the address or e-mail address entered in the system. It is not possible to win more than one prize. The winner will be drawn within 14 working days after the end of the competition.

7 – In the course of the notification of the prize, the customer will be informed as to when the voucher or the prize will be sent to him/her. No other services on the part of the organiser are associated with the promise of a prize.

8 – The organiser is entitled to exclude individual persons from participation if justified reasons are present, such as the violation of the terms and conditions of participation, double participation, manipulation of the competition, etc. In such cases, prizes may also be revoked retrospectively. Even an attempt to commit the aforementioned acts may lead to exclusion from the competition.

9 – Employees of the organiser and their families are generally excluded from the competition.

10 – The organiser reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of the competition at any time and to terminate or suspend the competition for good cause without giving prior notice.

11 – The liability of the organiser as well as its representatives and vicarious agents is hereby limited to cases in which essential contractual obligations have been breached, the fulfilment of which the participant was particularly entitled to rely on. The scope of liability is limited to the foreseeable damage for the typical contract. The exclusion of liability does not apply in the case of intentional, grossly negligent or fraudulent conduct, nor in the case of personal injury, guarantees or claims under the Product Liability Act.

12 – Privacy policy: The collection, processing and use of the participant’s personal data is performed in accordance with the EU Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO) and the German Telemedia Act (TMG). The personal data of the participants collected within the scope of the purchase order will be used in addition to the processing of the order in accordance with the relevant data protection declaration herein for the purpose of participating in the free prize draw including the raffle, notification of the winner by letter or by e-mail. Your personal data resulting from the purchase order will be deleted after expiry of the statutory retention period. This is 10 years for invoice records, commencing at the end of the year in which the order was placed.
